    Knock retard

Is there an acceptable amount of knock/knock retard or is the goal to rid of it all?

I get 1-3? of retard with an occasional spike between 2400 and 3600 and part throttle. Looking at old logs it tends to alway happen in the same rpm range.

Recovery rate in the 2400-3600 range removes knock quicker so im assuming this is a common range for knock to occur.

    Thanks guys

I wouldn't even bat an eye with that. The knock you see isn't hurting anything and won't be noticed at all.
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.

Thank you. To add to this i just figured out why i was never showing knock. It was more of a scanner issue than not getting knock at all. So once i figured out the scan all my logs show knock in relatively the same rpm/cylinder airmass range.
So to say that its not noticeable is 100% bc i didnt even know it was happening and it didnt bother me then so why should it now.

Pulled 1 degree across the table and it seemed to get rid of 90-95% of the knock with a few degrees popping up here and there.
