    Differential Ratios on Corvettes

Dunno if I am reading this correctly, but when I download the stock Corvette automatic files from the repository, the speedo cal section shows them all as having 3.42 final drive ratio. This was model year 2002. I want to compare some things with the 2.73 ratio vs the 3.15 ratio. Is there another table which shows the final drive ratio somewhere? And do they all read 3.42 or am I going crazy?

this explains it for the most part
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

Thanks for that thread. I had done a search using DIFFERENTIAL but did not find it. So I guess my question is still is there any way to D/L a file from the repository for an auto vette and find out which ratio is in it?

you can usually tell a 2.73 geared car apart just by looking at the shift points...i think the 2-3 shift occurs at like 90mph at wot in a 2.73 geared application.

Look in the glove box at the RPO sticker for the code GU2 (2.73) or G90 (3.15)
If you had a manual it would say GU6 (3.42)

The correct way to change the speedo is to put in your current tire size and gear ratio then press "Commit"
