2008 E38 ecm from 08 G6Gt, overwrite with 06 E38 C6 calibration

I need to replace 06 ECM and have a 08 ECM. Both E38s. The 06 C6 ECM works fine, just not able to pass emissions as all the monitors show not supported.
I've tried all the tricks to make it work but nothing. I have E38 ecm from 08 G6GT and wondering can I overwrite entire with the 06 C6 calibration?

Can I use a 08 C6 calibration and write over the 08 G6GT file?
