    I hope they're the same. I know body style changed but I don't think anything else did.

    thanks man ... any chance you would know if its possible to make a tune to work on a 2001 dodge dakota that i want to swap over to 5.2 the truck is currently a 2.5 5 speed and i want to put in a 95 5.2 from a dakta and keep it 5 speed with a
    nv3500

    Well, I don't know if that file will work without some modification. The file I posted is an automatic transmission (44RE), you would really need a file from a manual truck with the 5.2L or somehow stitch the two together and I don't think that's really possible.

    could i use a r/t tune and change the sensor on my engine and try to trick the ecm that its a 5.9 and then just set the main components to what the stock 5.2 tune requires ?

    from what im being told by others on forums i cant tune it to work at all even if i use a 5.9 tune and run it that way i was hoping to be able to flash my stock jtec 2.5 pcm and put in a 5.9 rt tune since those came 2wd 5 speed but once again in those forums they say no tune even a ram 5.9 or 5.2 ecm will let this work
