    24x on Gen1 SBC

Hello, I did the 24x swap on my SBC 406. The computer came from a 2000 5.3 truck. Even though I repined the coil packs and injectors for the change in firing order do I still need to change the firing order and injector bank assignments in the tune? I made the changes that you would make if it was the 411 computer but this is not the 411. Any clarification. Thanks.

Do I still change the firing order in the tune or will re-pinning the coil packs take care of the firing order change? Thanks.

Repinning the injectors and coils will do it.

The only advantage of changing the firing order is for correct cylinder misfire detection.
