    So I have a question

If I brick a ECM and get a replacement I just License the new ECM and write my tune from my bricked ECM without what bricked the first ECM to it right?

    No, I wouldn't do that.

Just use the compare feature to copy over your previous data into the new tune file. Should only take a few clicks to copy over all the things you want.
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.
