    Equivalence Ratio Commanded (SAE)

    Hello all,

So is this a Nissan/Infiniti thing for the commanded EQ Ratio to read this way? Or am I not understanding how these cars calculate it?

Here is showing the Target Lambda from the stock file.

Here is showing the Equivalence Ratio Commanded from a log I did.

    FYI, this is a 2008 Nissan Altima 3.5L V6 w/CVT.

Here is what I have figured out so far.

    1/Equivalence Ratio = Lambda
    The Equivalence Ratio Commanded = 1.289, so Commanded Lambda = .776. (1 / 1.289 = .776)

So I create a user defined Math parameter in the Scanner.

Now I need to create a EQ Error that will work in the Graph of Scanner, so I can log actual vs commanded in a percentage to dial fueling in @ WOT.
The predefined Math parameter EQ Ratio Error uses the Equivalence Ratio Commanded PID, so that will not work.

Here is the Commanded Lambda user defined Math parameter that I created.

But I am not able to figure out how to create a EQ Error that will work now tho. If I try making another user defined Math parameter to duplicate the predefined EQ Ratio Error Math parameter, but using the user defined Commanded Lambda (above) instead of Equivalence Ratio Commanded [50118]. It does not work, I am guessing because the user defined Math parameter is not being logged in the Channel list. But I am unable to log it in the Channel list.

This is the predefined Math parameter that I am trying to duplicate.

But the user defined Math parameter that I created shows up red and will not work correctly in the Graph.

Alright, I believe I figured it out.
I had to write out the equation for my user defined Commanded Lambda (instead of using the ID number) inside of the equation for my user defined EQ Error.

Here is my new user defined EQ Error Math parameter. And it works properly.
