Ive seen some different tuning strategies when it comes to this on the LT4 engines

Some people seem to leave it stock 2900 PSI or so and want to see a nice flat HPFP pressure line across the board.

Ive also seen some that seem to request the max psi up around 4000 psi which of course, will cause the HPFP pressure line to bounce up and down depending the demand.

So my question is does it make sense to command higher pressure? Will having the pump run at higher pressures allow it to supply more fuel when it dips?

IE 3900 max, dipping to say 3200 psi at lowest vs commanding 2900 psi and maybe dips to 2500?

Or would the system still drop down just as low to 2500 even commanding 3900 psi and starting to decline from a higher psi?
