    THe Dreaded P1400

Has anyone discovered how to permanently the P1400 code completely to keep the warranty valid? I'm looking to start modifying my 2020 Dodge charger Scat Pack but I don't wanna lose the warranty.

Not something I would do myself but there was a member here that stated he could clear it from the BCM...can't seem to find his post at the moment.

    Here it is:

Although this was for a 2016 HC.

Modify a car, do potentially crazy things with it, void warranty with a moon tune... Remove all mods/tune, limp into Dodge dealership... hey guys warranty claim. No wonder Dodge is going full tilt for security in the next gen PCM. Why not accept that you won't have a warranty, modify the shit out of the car and then if something brakes, pay for it.

You may be able to bench flash a second unlocked PCM to turn off the P1400 code before installation. When your unlocked PCM arrives from HPT, P1400 is turned on.

My understanding is even if you swap in a stock, unmodified PCM the P1400 still remains as apparently it is stored on other modules like the BCM. Or am I misinformed?
