Has anyone used? VCM scanner?s vehicle controls & special functions as a make shift timing retard at the drag strip? Couldn?t get an actual timing box ordered before today and need to pull 7-8 degrees of timing when I?m gonna make a pass(nitrous). Gen 3 5.3. Thanks in advanced!

Why not just set the high octane spark table to 8 degrees lower?
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.
