What?s the target water temp Lgz lfx?

I?m in a spot where i will be temporarily without my factory radiator fans. I?ll be triggering them by hand while watching the scanner.

What is the target water temp?

Or rather what temp should I make sure I don?t go over so i can makes sure I?m turning the fans on a few degrees earlier.

The fans start working at 204 f and spin faster the higher the temp above that.

Optimal Engine coolant temp is 195 f

Ok. So cruising at 210-219 wasn’t the best idea lol.

Good thing the new fan and shroud are coming today. I’ll get them swapped out late next week and then it’s adjusting the tune to run a brushless spal fan

It didn't harm anything. The GEN 5 V8 trucks run around 210 all the time and push 215-225 when you beat on them.
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.

    Yeah... 220 is nothing.

When you get above 235 it's when the fans work at full speed.

    Good.

The next step is hoping I have enough fan and radiator.
    It’s a cbr 1011 radiator That is 28”X19”X3” and a full shroud with a single spal brushless fan #30107125 (VA91-ABL326P/N-65A 12V)

The oem was a single 20 inch fan on a taller but thinner core. And the cbr cores are pretty nice.
