2006 nissan frontier vq40de not compatible

I was hoping that I could start tuning my frontier, but was informed via email that my truck isn't supported even though it stated so on the website. They told me it was because of the k-kline protocol. I am able to scan, but cannot read the file. Does anyone have and info regarding why I can't read my tune?

i dont believe 2006 was k-line, you can check your OBD for that

only thing k-line on nissan that i recall is the TB48DE pre-2017 models

Infolog confirms that external comms only support k-line. If it was CAN enabled it would show in the infolog. The earlier years of frontiers/titans had split ECUs. Some came with external CAN comms, other had internal CAN comms but only external k-line.

Does anybody have any info on allowing external CAN communication on a K line 2006 Nissan Frontier?
