ZL1 A10 will not DFCO for the first 20 min of driving please help!!!

    Hey guys!
I drive my 10 speed ZL1 100% of the time in "paddle shift mode" and when you start the car (hot or cold start does not matter) the car will not DFCO for the first 15-20 min of driving at lower RPM's or when your in higher gears. Like if you let off the gas the car never enters DFCO if your under 3,000rpm... Feels like I'm at 1-2% throttle and keeping the car coasting at the same speed.

My tuner and I maxed out all of the settings for the DFCO stuff and it makes zero difference!
I contacted HPT support but they are not tuners.

There has to be something in the tune to make this stop happening 😭

It's so annoying to drive for the first 15-20 min and it makes me not ever want to turn off the car once it starts DFCO'ing like if I'm somewhere pumping gas or getting food because then the "timer" starts all over again😭😭😭😭

I will pay someone to figure this shit out if needed! Help please!

    Stock transmission tune.

    LT5 ZR1 Ported throttle body
    Airraid Big Gulp Cold Air
Kong ported stock blower and ported snout
    2.1375" upper pulley
DSX Flex fuel sensor (car is on full E85 and is on 70+% ethanol almost all the time)
    Dual nozzle methanol
Kooks 2" headers and 3" exhaust

The car also has a 5-10 second delay on downshifts when using the paddles when it's 55-65 degrees or colder outsideIn the higher gears (10-9, 9-8, 8-7, 7-6 gears)

And it has a delay on upshifting on the 1-2, 2-3, 3-4 gears when using the paddles regardless of the temperature... This only occurs at very light throttle applications...
Under heavier throttle it shifts immediately with the paddle shifters... SO ANNOYING

Didn't do any of this when it was stock tune.

Your Driver Demand Table is awful and your Minimum Spark table is wrong if you're looking for burbles. Also your Throttle Area > Max Area is too high. This doesn't need to be changed much if at all, even for larger TB's.

I'm not surprised you have drive-ability issues.

Heads up to anyone that has this problem... The fix was the LTFT idle settings, the enable and disable speeds are raised and DFCO now works perfectly!!!!
