    DTC Readiness Test

Need some tips on getting my EVAP, O2 Sensor. and O2 sensor heater tests complete. I've got an '06 vette with LT headers. The rear O2 DTC's are set to "3 -no error reported" but SES enabled. I've driven over 200 miles since last flashing the PCM with a tune change and they're still not complete. Tune is attached. Thanks

You have to enable the rear O2 sensor DTCs as far as I know. So if you have no cats, you will need O2 simulators in place of the sensors to fake out the PCM.

I don't see anything in your tune that'd cause the O2 sensor tests to not pass. All I can think of is that you haven't completed the proper drive cycle yet. They do need total cold starts to run their tests.

You can pass the readiness checks even without cats in the car... My Z06 and every other catless car I've done passes pretty easy.

EVAP is a son of a bitch to get to pass, FYI.

Thanks. I usually only drive it on weekends so maybe that's the problem. I have to pass inspection in June so I should have time to get them to pass.

Wow, I am having the SAME EXACT PROBLEM! My G8 GT didn't pass because the same 3 things were not ready or "incomplete." I also have been driving around like a mad man and still the damn things wont ready up

Tampering with emissions control devices can be illegal... oh.. sorry

I create an "emissions" tune before an inspection that turns all of the evap, cat, and oxygen sensor DTCs to "no error reported" so they all go to complete as soon as they key is turned on. Once I get through the inspection I just flash it back with the regular tune. No extra drive cycles required!

I just passed my inspection, no CEL's or anything, I just had to not flash the computer for a long while

Is the above "Readyness Test" a tool in HPTuners?

If I would to have this problem I would turn ALL DTC's to "3 - no error reported" and when I would start my car, all tests will be reported as passed.

But I don't mess with emissions.

I do have a cats and everything, but i keep flashing this thing on a weekly basis , all tests but the evap one would complete fairly quickly, as of course there is no reason they shouldn't, but if i wanted to "expedite" the evap test, what are the dtc's that pertain to it ?

    You don't need simulators.

    Change to number 3 on DTC's for O2 sensors. I believe 0420 and 0430.

I removed mine and plugged just to keep my rear in new condition. Probably doesn't really matter.
