And its hard to see if the dip of pressure is causing the lean spike or is the lean spike being seen by the ecu causing the FP to dip. I kind of want to get a mechanical fuel pressure gauge to hook up. Also would like to find a way to watch the FP voltage when the spike happens.

Hey guys, Zeroed out boost, min injector pw and injector flowrate in the fscm and no change....still doing it. You can see though the oscillation of the fuel pump when going through the 1600 rpm and the 2600 rpm range

Change your minimum DC to 60% everywhere and see what it does. You can see your DC go to 60 then drop to 50something right where it drops off. You can also try setting regulated pressure everywhere to a minimum of 55psi. Ctsv's and zl's used a fuel pressure sensor as long as the SAE pid is showing correctly. Still don't know if it's cause or affect, but it's showing commanded to not be changing when actual is. Maybe even set min desired to 50 at the same time.

Side question guys, which PID(s) are you logging to see which fuel flow mode you are in? I couldn't find anything other than "instantaneous fuel flow", but that doesn't coincide with the table in the editor

I would like to know also. I just look at the commanded PSI and whatever that is should tell us what mode we are in.

So I decided to try and maxxing out the ifr vs press table in FSCM (maxes out at 8 g/sec)...did absolutely nothing. Lean spot still there. I STILL think the oscillating fuel pressure may be the cause of it, but I have no clue on what to adjust to remedy the problem. You can see prior to that area the FP is nice and stable then the oscillation happens then above that rpm it goes back to being stable

Min DC. It was hinted at in that article for the boost a pumps where they cause the fpcm to over correct each way - got a 22 ZL I'm working on right now doing this... If you can keep it from dropping below 60% it might work. I guess the bigger injectors are less forgiving as they're running smaller pulse widths making this factory programming issue more pronounced?

hmmm...so you are having the lean spot like us on the 22ZL or having the fuel pump over correction issues? So where do you get the 60% from? I'm genuinely asking since I'm an idiot...lol

I think he is saying it has the over correction issue. And for us to set the pump duty cycle to 60% so they never drop below that and see if it helps.

setting that whole tab to 60 or above as a test then?

I set Minimum from 10% to 60% and that did nothing.

this is back with the stock fscm setting, but i was in 4th gear this time. Notice how lean it gets stays since i'm in a higher gear and in PE. short clip of it. It's a csv file because the original file was too big. Should be able to open with the scanner though

Yes this, gentleman is running a boost a pump that's causing his base fuel pressure to nose dive then rebound.

Do you have the log for this one? Do it with min DC in the fpcm set to a lowest value of 60 - leave the higher values still high. There's also another place where it min has to be changed to the base setting.

I plan on running a BAP if I run out of fuel with my 2.4 pulley. Might need you to help me set it up. Lol.

I'm now at that the point I'm going to live with the lean spikes. Set PE throttle percentage super low so I get into PE at like 10% so im in PE so low the stumble is not so bad. I really see no other option at this point.

I only made changes to pressure, pump and fpcm so only use those. Not holding my breathe at this point...
