    2009 shelby help

    hey guys I am helping my friend with his 2009 Shelby. It has a pulley, exhaust no cats , intake, heat exchanger and a few other small things. he insisted we based the tune off his old bamma tune so I did. the car runs great except under WOT the afr is 10.1-10.4 I want to get it closer to 11.2-11.4. I am used to tuning GM vehicles and not familiar with ford ecm. Where do I go to lean the WOT AFR? I figured out how to tune out DFCO pop. I believe at that rich WOT we are leaving a good amount of power on the table. Any help would be appreciated.

    multiply MAF curve wot area by 0.93 - 0.94

    first you need to see what the commanded lambda is. That is the stft at wot which is what the ecu is commanding for afr.

    set the fuel table to command the afr you want first then dial in the maf.

    like small tuner above posted since your at .71 lambda now (10.4/14.64) and you want to be at .77 lambda (11.4/14.64)

    you would multiply the air mass flow at that specific air mass voltage by 0.94 to remove that 6%. (.77-.71)

    Where do I find the maf curve. I am in airflow and dont see it anywhere. Pmus why cant i find a ve table anywhere in here also.

    look under airflow for maf

    no VE table because its not speed density

    older S197 mustang you will see MAF volt table typically WOT voltages would start around 2.8v all the way to 5v depending on your intake size

    also going leaner keep an eye on your spark advance

    Good info. I have made some changes but my buddy has not had a chance to stip by so i can load them. So lower volts in MAF is leaner correct?
