I don't see mention of anyone moving the high octane spark table to the low octane table. I see nobody setting Open loop EQ ratio to 1.00 across the board to ensure there is no multiplier based on ECT (I know this won't skew logs but see my rationale below). They just fail the MAF, disable COT, DFCO, dynamic airflow and the fuel trims.
Have things changed or are these things just not being mentioned? Granted, I know i'm comparing commanded vs. actual AFR so the EQ ratio really is irrelevant but w/ it stable at 14.63 i figured it'd be easier on these than trying to tune based on varying EQ ratio due to ECT.
