    scavenging

hey all, im recently new to automotive tuning. i own a 2011 ford mustang with the 3.7 tivct v6. i am looking for any help i can get. the headers were replaced before i bought it. it has some aftermarket shorty headers and my question is how do i adjust the tivct to compensate for exhaust scavenging? do i add more overlap to the exhaust cam? do the exhaust valves need to stay open longer or is that the opposite of whats needed? thanks all for any help. im also new to this forum as well so i will be scanning through previous articles.

Shouldn't need to do anything. Short tube headers are going to have very little scavenging, and the delays should be similar to stock because your sensor placement is very close to the stock location.
