10 bar map sensor
Hey guys,
I am curious if any of you guys are using higher range map sensors with your setups? The ability to have logs without limiting out the boost reading from the factory map sounds appealing to me, but it doesn't seem like many people use them. Is there a good reason why?
If I was to buy a 10 bar sensor with the scale of 0.5V= 4.35 PSI, 4.8V = 145 PSI Absolute Pressure.
Would I scale it like this in voltage to pressure conversion table?
0.000=4.35
0.083=4.35
0.088=4.35
0.499=4.35
4.501=145
4.990=145
4.995=145
5.000=145

I run a 10 bar map sensor on my 2012.
I?ll post up the scale settings when I have a chance.

Thanks jim that chart is very helpful. Whenever the count drops below 15,000 in the tune are you just doing the math to get the pressure or rounding up to the last pressure listed on the chart?

Doing ADC math, the final pressure values in those charts were rounded to nearest second decimal place.
These ECMs native format is counts and inHg for the 2004.5-2009 and for the 2010+ the native format is counts and kPa.
