Looking to turn on torque reserve on a 2015 Hellcat.

So I've been looking at tinkering inside of HP Tuners and turning on torque reserve on my 2015 Challenger Hellcat. My first take was fake it till you make it and look at stock tunes that had it turned on and see if I could replicate that in my tune and test it at the track. I did a look in the tune repository and only found up to 2016 for stock Challenger Hellcats. These are the items I have identified inside of VCM Editor.

    1. Turn on switch for Torque Reserve (47529)
    2. Set the torque amounts per engines speed in the correct table (47501)

Are there any fueling requirements or spark modifiers that I would have to change? I'm sure this would all be apparent if I could find a tune that had this turned on and do a diff (best way I have learned so far). The car has a one-piece drive shaft and a differential brace. I also run 15PSI in my Hoosier bias ply so I do think that the drive train can take the hit. Any help would be appreciated. (I did look at a stock Demon file but don't know if those are numbers that I should go off of.)

Log spark advance as you try different numbers. Notice that at some point you hit a limit..... what is the limit?
If in doubt, multiply everything by 1.1.

I just hope these are the right tables, don't want to be blowing things up.

I found a stock tune in some threads on the forums. Plan is to adapt the values in the 2018 to my 2015 tune file and give it a test in a local parking lot, hopefully nothing go boom.

Torque reserve is probably not the best thing you can do to your catalysts.
If in doubt, multiply everything by 1.1.

So I crafted a tune that mirrored all the launch control (LC) settings of a 2018 Hellcat A8. The tune I used was found in this post: https://forum.hptuners.com/showthrea...t=2018+hellcat. I modified my tune and it is attached to the post.

What I am wondering is the bouncing waves of the Wideband, is it supposed to go that lean? Is there something I missed? I adjusted the following tables:

[ECM] 47501 - Launch Control Torque Reserve (Slow Path)
[ECM] 9962 - Launch Control Fast Path Proportional Term
[ECM] 9959 - Launch Control Slow Path Minimum Error To Enable
[ECM] 9960 - Launch Control Slow Path Initial Torque Reduction
[ECM] 9961 - Launch Control Slow Path Initial Torque Reduction Multiplier
[ECM] 9957 - Launch Control Slow Path Proportional Term Multiplier
[ECM] 9958 - Launch Control Slow Path Integral Term.

Let me know your thoughts. I'm new to this so any advice would be appreciated. At the end of the day I went back to the beginning read as I didn't trust it due to the bouncing wideband values.

I have only played with it on my scat pack. If you copied everything over exactly from another factory tune, it should be working as designed.

The wideband blinks out because there are misfires.

Thank you for the explanation about the wideband blinking in and out. I thought something was going horribly wrong because when you look at the stock launch control in the logs they barely move (or are barely noticeable).

The launch control without torque reserve is just a different idle speed.
If in doubt, multiply everything by 1.1.

If your just building boost and its not cutting some injectors your doing it wrong....

Good to know, did not know that.

And this is outside of my wheel house, which is why I went back to the default values from the tune and will revisit when I have more knowledge under my belt.
