Rocker Arm Question

Can you use Gen V l83 5.3 rocker arms on a Gen IV Ly5 5.3, they look the same but the Gen V rockers are 1.8 ratio vs the 1.7 ratio on the Gen IVs if there interchangeable is it worth the money they dont cost too much versus aftermarket ones which are expensive.

im not sure if they are changeable or not, but i have gone from factory 1.7 to 1.8 and its very small gains not really worth the effort, think it was like 10rhp or something on a 6.0

That's not too bad of a gain given these rockers new are about $200 but you could pick up some used ones for pretty cheap around $100. You think i would benefit more with these stock 1.8 rockers with heads/cam?

if ur doing cam then id leave them and just get the cam to suit, usually 1.8 with most cams isnt the best as they were made with the 1.7 in mind and clearances, ramp rates may be too much, unless u get custom cam designed with the 1.8 ratio used
