Weird box wires to injector Cobalt SS

A friend of mine is having issues with his Cobalt SS turbo having a misfire on cylinder 2. So he asked me to check it out. He bought the car at auction and doesn?t know much about it.
Well when I got the car I found a weird box under the dash, it?s blue and has a serial port and a button on it. Wires go out of the box to power and then out to the number 2 injector. Looks like the car has bigger injectors in it. The car misfires intermittently on the number 2 cylinder. If I unplug the box the car will not run. Seems the injectors are 24 pound injectors from a Ford Mustang Cobra.

Sounds like the previous owner installed a N2MB WOTBOX. The car will not run with the box unplugged as the box is spliced into either the ignition or injector signal wire. Look for a red wire and either an orange or black wire both wires are 16ga. (color depends on when unit was made), they should go to the same wire. Check all connections/joints for corrosion as it could cause an intermittent connection.
