I get quite a bit of KR (consistently 3-4*) using Russ’ 2018 Denali 6.2 timing tables. The shift programming is much better, but need to find a way to smooth out the shift to first at 5mph, coming up to a stop, it bucks once as it downshifts. These things are a hell of a lot harder to tune than my 67, I’ll tell you that much!

Setting Upshift torque management to NONE doesn't seem to be a big deal on A8's. The ECU still pulls timing on the shift. Disabling Upshift "torque reduction" is what will shorten the transmission life because the trans will shift with full commanded timing. On lower power <600whp stuff the 8l90 will tolerate it, but when you start pushing past that, I would go back to pulling timing on the shifts. I set mine up to shift with 0-5 degrees of timing, then immediate recovery. Haven't had any issues doing it this way since 2017 on my car.
