    Question Ground for AEM Wideband

I have a AEM Wideband and have it grounded to the #5 on the connector.Has anyone hooked up another ground to the metal by the OBDII port but left the ground on the green connector also?I think I will give that a try today!

I'm not sure but doesn't that create a ground loop? Oh, how isi the AEM working out for you? I've got one too. I currently have mine grounded along with the rest of my guages and my AFR isn't very stable, it's all over the map so, I've been suspecting that I need to ground mine to the EIO.

I HAD mine connected to the EIO MPVI on #5.
In the help files it shows that an LM-1 is grounded to the MPVI and thats it.
I was told you should ground it off NEAR the OBD II port. On something metal like for example the seat mounts and stuff like that.
Never heard of a grounding loop though

Ground what near the OBD port? The EIO #5?

All WB controllers should be grounded directly to the battery ground to avoid ground loops, voltage shifts, el noise. Just run speaker wire thru the firewall(pass side, behind PCM) to the battery ground terminal and be done with it. EIO5 is not power ground.
