    15 a6 pullout generated file

    Hey guys,
I have a car lot that wanted me to see if the file in his car was stock or tuned. It won't pass any emission monitors. I went to pull the file and hp added a generated stock file like a chrysler trans file that was an out of date version. I am afraid to buy credits and possibly just flash the same thing back in. Is there any way to verify what is actually in there ? Sorry for the lack of audi experience. If anyone has a 15 a6 3.0 stock file that I could compare to the trans worst case to try and verify that it has been alter or not.
    Thanks in advance

You would need to remove the ecu and bench flash it with other more expensive hardware to remove the file that is on it now.
A stock file from HPtuners will be able to pass monitors, but only if the car has no emission system faults.
There are some stock ZF8 files on here that you can compare if you have the version number to look for.

I understand your worry. You may check the car's engine control unit (ECU) file for modifications or stock using several methods.

Using specialist software and hardware, the ECU file can be read and compared to a known stock file for the car's make, model, and year. This helps you spot file changes.

Consulting automotive tuning pros or forums is another option. They may be able to help check the ECU file and compare it to a stock file.

ECU file flashing or alterations might affect vehicle performance and emissions, so be careful. To ensure the right course of action, consult skilled automotive tuning pros, especially for the car's make and model.
Comparing a 2015 Audi A6 3.0 stock file to the car's file could help you find any changes. However, vigilance and expert assistance are needed to avoid undesired outcomes.
