I have a 2010 Camaro SS 6.2L NA that a friend brought to me with an issue of cutting out above 4500 RPM. When I drove it, the engine seems to cut out if the RPMs are above 4500 and the TPS is roughly above 50%. If you don't go past 50%, it will rev to the limiter. He said this happened after he watched a YouTube video that said to remove fuses 5 and 20 (both ECM fuses) to reset the fuel MAP to high octane.
I have checked all the connection and grounds, and everything seems good.
The modifications include:
Cam- Not sure the specs but it sounds big?
Headers and full exhaust
LSX intake
MSD Coils and wires
Scan #1 is WOT until it cuts out run 1.hpl
Scan #2 I held it under 50% until I got to 6000 RPM run 2.hpl
The tune by others- original 10.23.20.hpt
Any help and or advise is greatly appreciated,
