    2018+ FRPP Power Pack

Anyone have a "read" off one of these new Powerpack tunes for the 2018-2020 Mustang? (M-9603-M8B)

I've got $100 for someone who can supply one.

GT 350 throttle body doesn't work on 2018+ Coyote engines.

    it does not work!!
GT350 work with analog data and 2018+ Mustang work with digital data! Its complete different! you can run a 87mm TB. But not the GT350 TB.

But you are even more wrong Henry...

To summarize GT350 works with +2018 Bosch ecu but you need a converter. Same goes with running a Cobra Jet on 3 gen Coyote - it's doable.

+2018 are not digital, Throttle Position Sensors have different standards for Bosch compared to Siemens/Contonental. Still classic TPS...

Checking to see if anyone has a read of this yet. I'm interested to see what they changed for extra torque at lower RPM.

    Thanks!

The stock borderline spark tables are calibrated for 87 octane. I heard that the power pack tables are for 93 so you don’t have to wait for the knock advance to come in so you get the torque sooner.

OAR should eliminate all that having to wait for knock advance to add 8*. It should keep it in the 1-2* range, if your per cylinder difference doesn't come out to even more than that.

I’m a little perplexed, but it appears as though Ford has OAR disabled on all gen3 coyote calibrations. The min and max ECT for learning are moved to an unachievable range. I checked 2018 and 2020 mustangs and a 2019 f-150.

the 3rd gen tunes i have it is disable as well, octane modifier (learned value) is zeroed. gen2 it functions just fine but ford performance nullifies that as well and forces it to -1 to bring in all the OAR timing. the system works quite well but drifts back to zero over time if it doesn't receive positive or negative knock inputs.
no reads on the gen3 frpp2 yet? curious what the TB side looks like.
