Helo does anyone know of any way to test a junkyard pcm to see if its usable before using any credits on it? I'm doing a black box to 0411 conversion on my 99 Tahoe efi gen 1 383 build using a PCM that my uncle got from a reckingyard but would like to know if its good before i use up anymore of my credits.
Build a bench harness using junk yard parts and see if an OBD2 Bluetooth module can read it. But my bet is that 99 % of the junk yard PCM devices are in perfect condition. All four of my junk yard PCM's have been no trouble.
