Gen3 Mustang GT E85 tune runs poorly on cold start

I've tuned a couple of these cars for E85 and this particular one doesn't idle well when cold. I've bumped Fuel settings and pressure like the others and this one is still unhappy. Anyone have any suggestions?

try bumping up the idle adder rpm and idle adder time and maybe make the cranking lambda a little less rich (closer 1) given e85 already has a stoich around 9.86. Also one thing to consider if its specifically that car is where theyre getting the e85 from. I may not be e85 and therefore way too rich for the actual stoich of the fuel

Thanks for the info. Where is the Cranking Lambda you are talking about? Fuel tab?

Why do you have flex fuel enabled and your stoic set to 9.85?

You might want to start by setting up a e85 tune or a flex fuel tune.

Thanks LastPlace, I was under the impression that Flex Fuel was supposed to be enabled, and thanks Bill for the info!

    No problem

Search for some of my posts, I’ve posted a bunch of flex fuel files recently.

Post your stock file and I will build you a dedicated E85 tune
