    verification code

    I just purchased mpvi2 to tune a 2005 GTO, I'm trying to register my devices so i can search the tune repository, it asks for a verification code. The car i'm going to tune is my GTO but it is not
    running. Can I plug the mpvi2 into another car, i have a 2020 mustang, to get my verification code or does it have to be the car you are going to tune? Thanks for any help. Kevin

    Never mind, i figured it out. I just had to plug it into my laptop not the computer on the car. Bonehead!
