    Computer down

    Hey,
My laptop broke down, means I will have to reinstall it all.
How to get this done with HPtuners (license and all that)?

    MPVI1 or MPVI2 interface?

Either way start by installing the software & drivers from our downloads page https://www.hptuners.com/downloads/

    That is the starting point.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

    MPVI2
Well, that was clear. What then, when I had everything on this computer and so no license code to get back to my services?

    Install software
    Install MPVI2 drivers
    Open vcm editor
    Connect interface
click help-resync device to sync your credits & licenses to your device.

You need to install the MPV2 drivers before connecting. Drivers can be downloaded here: https://www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/CDM/CDM21228_Setup.zip
Reboot after the install and try to connect again.
    Good luck.

I think I would rather download drivers from hpTuners official site.
    https://www.hptuners.com/downloads/
However, that looks to be a legit direct link to the download.
