    2010 e63 amg

This will be the first gas motor ive tuned. My only experience is with late model common rail diesel trucks. I recently purchased the vehicle listed in the title and am going to be tuning it. Im in the process of unifying the maps and seem to be causing sluggish shifting when all the torque maps and their counter parts are in unison. This was my method with diesels before i started to mess with fuel and timing. Am i off base or is this a good strategy?

    1. Set torque management tables so pcm is not reducing torque/cutting power
    2. Tune the MAF tables ECM 44326-44329 so EQ Commanded matches actual WB EQ (both banks). You need to setup two graphs and use the LTFT + STFT math function as parameter in VCM Scanner with column axis is copied from mentioned MAF tables. Go datalog and vary the RPMS and keep them below 4k and make sure you get 50 hits per cell.
    3. Once your fueling matches, then you can start tuning the other tables and doing WOT pulls.

Thanks for the reply! Now that the weather is better i went out and got the commanded eq and actual to match. Are there any other torque limiters that are not obvious in any other maps outside of the torque tables? What about above 4k rpm, is that where the open loop fueling kicks in?
