Hey,

I asked myself, is it helpful to log the fuel trims in ve table by settimg a filter to Lambda=1.

Will this help to filter PE and DFCO out to get better values?

no not really dfco is still lambda 1.0, u have to get creative to remove all the junk unfortunately or go old school as i do a bit and go thru manually

You can set a filter such as commanded Lambda =1 , it will definitely filter out PE data, to filter DFCO is a bit trickier as DFCO when I tune is disabled, so to filter that data think about what your physically doing with 1) Accelerator Pedal or 2) TPS. Once you develop this filter you can start developing more intricate filters using TPS or Accel Pedal for steady state data collection as well, but as 07GTS has said you still need to manually massage.

This is the filter i use. Took along time to get it to where it is now. I hope you like it. Gets rid of all the junk in 1 hit.

Options:
If manual, remove the 2517 parameters
Adjust the <3 up to include a wider range of throttle movements if needed.
Remove the [6310]=6 to include idle
Remove the [6310]=7 to include coast

Filter:
[2517.161.avg(500)]=0 and [2517.161.avg(-500)]=0 and (abs([50090.156.slope(500)])+abs([50090.156.slope(-100)]))<3 and ([6310]=6 OR [6310]=7 OR [6310]=9 OR [6310]=14 OR [6310]=15)=0

Yep. 6310 (Fuel trim cell) is the key to quickly getting rid of stuff or focusing only on certain things. One of the best ways to filter in my opinion.
