    Reduced Power Mode with larger TB...searched the forums but still need suggestions

    SOLVED: Hey team, can you offer any suggestions? I have searched through the posts and found no clear suggestions we haven't already tried.


    The baby is an LSX 427 + Harrop TVS2650 + E38 PCM (2015 Holden VF SS) and we are constantly getting Reduced Power Mode when using more than 40% throttle under load, otherwise idle and performance is excellent. Recently replaced the 102mm Pro Flow TB with a Harrop 110mm and can use a little more throttle but the problem remains. Revving with no load in the garage won't bring it on now whereas it would with the ProFlow.


    Have max'ed the Effective Area - Max (below), do I need to also max out the ETC Area Scalar? We were getting 0242 TAC error with the 102mm but it hasn't popped up yet with the 110mm. Unfortunately our dyno guy is booked for another week and road testing this much power isn't an option around here, so getting a decent scan isn't possible yet. No relevant codes are showing up.

    SOLVED: the issue was in Airflow > Electronic Throttle > Desired Throttle Area > Map A, B and C. Detuned for reliability and poor quality fuel we settled on 550rwkw and 1250nm tq (@ 3500rpm).
