    Sometime in 06-08 is the switch. Most LS2's and very early LS7's are silver blades. By LS3 they are all gold.

    All Chevy SS sedan's were gold blades. Not sure about G8's.

    For an extra data point, my ls7 had a silver blade tb. Build date was 10/07. I'm almost positive all ls3s had gold blades though
