Going to plug in my MPVI-2 this weekend and take my car out for a drive , I would like to Scan some parameters RPM, O2's, IAT, TPS, APP %, KPA, etc,
Is there anything i have to do to get started Scanning besides Plug in the MPVI?

Make sure you have the latest VCM suite, Connect MPVI to your computer and resync to update firmware. Then connect to vehicle and at the top of the channels list hit the folder and select load vehicle defaults to get started.
connect MPVI2
open vcm scanner
select the pids you'd like to scan in the channels display
click record icon to start scanning/recording
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...
