Question on Bench Harnesses for GM 3.1L

Not sure if this is the right subforum but ...

I have a 2000 Malibu with 3.1L V6 and would like to get a bench harness for the PCM.

I see several units available like this for the LS1 V8

The physical connector appears to be the same but I am not sure if the pinouts are different? Does anyone know if they are compatible?

Apparently I can buy one with alternate pin configuration if needed but need to know what that config should be.

Answering my own question.

I found this which seems to confirm they are the same.

I also contacted the ebay seller. He went ahead and tested on a PCM from a V6 and it works as expected. Just placed my order now.
