    E40 Fuel Density

After building my 50% scaled tune for my 06 GTO I've been trying to correct the mpg calculator for my dash display but cant seem to find any kind of fuel density option anywhere. I'm using version 4.4.4 if that matters. Thanks.

Make sure your in advanced view.
go to Fuel and the general tab. it's on the left
Scale it the same as the injectors. If you scaled 50%, cut the number in half.
from there make small changes. Once I did the half, I waited until I filled up again, and compared the reading to my calculated MPG. adjust by the percentage off and wait till the next fill-up.
only took 2 fill-ups to get it pretty much dead on.

Thanks. I am in advanced mode but i do not have that as an option for some reason. When i open a stock tune file it's there but Im using a 2Bar OS so im not sure where the disconnect is.

That's strange. Just took my tune, loaded it in, applied the 2 bar patch, saved it as a new tune file name, closed out, opened the new file and it's still there...

Yeah, I'll probably have to do the same thing. I'll load the new 4.8 and see if that works and if not ill just rebuild the tune from a stock file. Thanks again for all the help.

Well, i tried loading the stock GTO tune and the car wouldn't start. It wouldn't even turn over so i loaded the previous tune and it started up just fine. I must've missed something when converting the tune file but im at a loss for what it could be since i copied everything over using the compare function. The only thing i can think of is im not using a GTO ecm so the GTO logic isnt being recognized?

The GTO ECM is specific to the GTO. Other E40 ECM'S don't run in the GTO

Edit your original tune file and verify/make sure the OS is the same and you didn't accidently overwrite your OEM OS file with another. Make the necessary adjustments in the original file, re-apply the 2bar OS and then copy your other settings over into the tune.

However if it's displayed in the original OS it "should" also be shown with the custom OS applied.
