Anyone have an idea how to lock a 10 speed trans in a 2019 Silverado into a gear?

New E90 ecm issues keep on coming. I'm going to try and dyno this beast but I know the truck will downshift on me if I floor it in 6th or 7th gear. Any ideas? I don't need to get into the tcm do I?

You can try temporarily changing the shift scheduling so that it wont downshift once it gets into the gear you want. But you have to be REAL careful because the wrong value will also tell it to skip a gear when downshifting. I think I was trying to lock an A10 to do a 2nd gear launch and I did it backwards which caused the car to go from 3rd to 1st every downshift, skipping second. Fortunately we were not at a high RPM or that would have been really bad.

Yeah, I can't even get into the tcm on this thing. Nothing for the trans in the scanner either. These 2019s blow.

It's not supported on those trucks.
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.
