2012 Audi A3 2.0T Read fails

Trying to read a stock2012 A3 2.0T file. I read the tcm, but every time I try and read the ecm it fails and says controller init: fail.
What am I doing wrong??

I had a similar issue with my GTI. Reach out to support and attach your infolog and other diagnostic files. They may need to add support for your specific TCM calibration ID

I was able to read the TCM. I'll email about the ECM.

Sorry. Misread your initial post, but yea could be the same issue but with the ECM
