2005 5.7 Hemi Comp Cam - Wont Idle

I have a 2005 5.7 hemi that will not idle due to my cam swap. It will run and start with throttle, stay running until you let off throttle. The cam is comp cam 112-700-11 specs 214-233 | .495-.492 | 112. I have long tube headers as well. Just a cam and long tube headers is my only performance mods.

I have attached my stock tune file with a few codes disabled. Looking for help with just a base tune to make it start and idle own its own.

you got less torque with the comp cam at low rpm....all is torque based.
the o2 delay for LT is longer.

Started right up, idled had some surge though. I put in R did ok, when it hit N it bogged down and died, and was hard trying to get it to start and idle again. I attached a trying to crank log here as well.

How long did you let it set and idle in park? Let it run awhile so everything can settle in some. And then see what the fuel trims are looking like.

I?ll look at the log when I get home later.

Someone had said that It should probably easy to get idling. Bump idle to 800rpms, pull 20% fuel out of injectors or ve table in idle area, set min timing in idle area between -5/+5 depending on how loopy of an idle you want, and pull about 20% out the tq monitoring table, should fire right up and idle pretty decent and then Tweak from there.

I have no clue where to adjust this stuff at.

hard start, starts and dies. wont idle at all. has to have gas pedal pressed to even start. let off pedal and dies.

they are about both the same tbh, should I do a write entire or a write calibration only? been doing write calibration only. not entire. I know sometimes you have to do a write entire to get changes to take.

could you make a file with these changes

    Bump idle to 800rpms
pull 20% fuel out of injectors or ve table in idle area
set min timing in idle area between -5/+5 depending on how loopy of an idle you want
pull about 20% out the tq monitoring table

Post your original read from the car before you changed anything so I can see it.

Both of those tunes I sent have work done to all those things.

also, I do not have abs or traction control, this was a Hemi swap into a 05 magnum that was a 2.7 factory. cats deleted, no egr, no rear o2s, mds deleted.

No, motor was tore down and rebuilt though. I do not think its a mechanical issue. I'll try that tune later today.

that tune did not work either really, check this one i made. it starts up easy, no throttle needed to start. but idles surges some and will die off. attached is tune and 2 log files. just trying to stop the idle surge and smooth it out.
