    Spontaneous Downshift - ZF8HP70

    Hi all,
Working on my trans tune, most of it is much better thasn it was. One area I'm struggling to get info on is the spontaneous downshifts, I note there's a tab for this (circled in the snippet), but I'd like to confirm is this is the case (2014 Ram 1500). In this case, does the spontaneous downshift refer to table 41? Also, is there a "rate change": parameter that distinguishes what constitutes a "spontaneous downshift"?

    Thanks and appreciate any feedback.

It's a kickdown. Press the gas and it downshifts. Log SHIFT ID to verify what table it is using.
If in doubt, multiply everything by 1.1.

Thanks, I understand the concept. Has anyone seen or used this table before?

Depends on what you mean by "this table"?

I have adjusted the spontaneous downshift shift-schedule in my tune. Yes.

If you mean did I change table 30018, no. I don't believe it can be changed.
If in doubt, multiply everything by 1.1.
