    2005 NGC3 HO/Non-HO 4.7 interchange?

I am contemplating a PCM swap in my 2002 4.7 Durango.
It has a non-HO 2002 4.7 which I think should have 16 teeth on the reluctor.
The PCM I have is a 2005 RAM 4.7 which I believe expects 32 teeth. I think all the 4.7s in 2005 had 32 teeth.

Is there a way for this to work?
Can the crank/cam signal be modified/scaled?
I noticed there's an engine selection box under the engine tab, but not certain how to adjust for tooth count of the reluctor wheel, if that is even possible.

I rigged up a bench harness and read out of of my PCMs. I can't find anything related to crank/cam trigger counts or scaling.
I saw a couple posts that reference scaling map sensors that state other sensors aren't scalable and would have to be a user defined parameter.
Is there any chance someone has this ability and is willing to?

Well, I was hoping this would be straightforward wiring project, but it requires a 32 tooth crank wheel and can gear.... If I'm messing around with all that I'll just put a 2003-2008 hemi in at the same time.

It might be possible to identify a user defined parameter to adjust the count but that's no trivial task. If it hasn't already been done it'll be more trouble than swapping a 4.7 HO (waste of time and $$) or a hemi.

Hey man, which pcm does your Durango have right now? The four plug one, or the three plug jtec one?

I got to thinking about it, and Im pretty sure Ive seen both types in that body style. Although Im not sure.

But it would be pretty cool swapping in a 08+ 4.7, 03-08 5.7, or 06-10 6.1 using the 05 pcm.

looks like you figured it out...
    .But
Yes all 05's 4.7s and HEMI's have the 32 tooth wheel.
No you can't scale the 05 PCM to work with the 16 tooth wheel.

As for using the 05 PCM with a Hemi in the 02 ......I can't answer that,

The '05 PCM still uses the PCI bus and works. I have an 05 PCM running an 03 hemi in my 2001 Dakota trail truck.

Although it's most likely possible, I doubt anyone capable has a reason to spend the time to define such a parameter as the cam/crank trigger for such an uncommon application or combination.

It has a Huntsville JTEC+ with 3 plugs. I'm thinking of taking a page out of Ford's EEC-V book and mounting a 32 tooth reluctor wheel to a 4.7 harmonic balancer and a crank sensor on a bracket. Then install a timing chain gear for a 4.7 HO (I think 2008+ would also work but that's a guess) a 2002-2003 Durango engine bay harness from a vehicle that had an NGC or hack and splice to connect the PCM, but it's time consuming to make that look decent.
