    5.7 hemi mmx nsr rt na cam idle help

    Im working on a 16 charger r/t, just replaced stock cam and lifters with mmx nsr rt na cam and hellcat lifters, mds delete, 8 degree limiter. This is my first time tuning. Ive watched recklessmotorsportsusa video on youtube and tried to imitate what he did but it made the car run even worse(made it richer and unable to idle ). Before i messed with it The car will drop idle rpm to 550 after about 5-10 minutes of running, and seems to hang the rpm after a rev. Sorry if this is all over the place but im little overwhelmed on where to start with this thing, seems each thing i do makes it worse.

    the car also is slow revving down while idling and in drive. only codes im getting are both banks are rich.

    I left your NN on but I would suggest that you VE and turn NN off. I also didn't mess with your variable camshaft tables under airflow. I need you to log Exhaust cam centerline position so we can see where your cam is at. I made some adjustments in Idle, airflow, some fueling, and a little torque management but left the rest alone. Give this a try and let me know how it goes and post your log if there is any improvement..

    spray cam tune idle and rev.hplspray cam tune drive.hpl
    car runs and idles a lot better, the hanging rpm is almost non existent now. Thank you

    It happens if I rev to 2500-3000 it?ll hang for a second or two then drops normally, It only happens from initial cold start till probably around 150 degrees

    Go to Torque Model tab, then > Loss, then open the friction base table on the top left of the page. Change the first 11 columns (From lowest rpm, roughly 500 all the way up to 2800rpm) and change all 11 columns to 6 from top to bottom. Make the next 2 columns 6.5. Then the next 2 columns change to 7. And the last two columns change to 8. Close that table and on the same page, open the "Friction Torque vs Temp" table and multiply the entire table by .75. See if that takes care of that last little bit of hang.
