    VSS pin location for black box 4L60 to 4L80 swap?

    Hi Guys,

    Posting for my dad as hes wiring up a trans swap.

    Details: 1997 Tahoe black box originally 4L60 now with 4L80

    Questions

    1) Trans swap harness has 2 extra wires for added VSS...what pins do these go to in 1997 Tahoe PCM?
    2) Whats the best path to reflash the black box to a 4L80 program?

    97 ext cab short bed silverado 5.7 411 swap, edelbrock 29135 intake, lightly ported 906 heads milled .035 thou. factory press in rocker studs & rockers, comp 787 retainers & stock locks, ls6 springs. Comp cams 08-503-8 T56 swap

    So for the 97, the pin out shows C3 gray plug uses pin 7 for ISS on 4L80 only. But the conversion harness includes 2 additional wires, so is it for Pins #7& #8 or #7 and the other new wire goes somewhere else? I don't see any other pin locations that call out a pin location used by 4L80 only (per below link from LT1swap)
