2013 3.7L Mustang not detecting any ethanol content in vcm scanner

I have a 2013 v6 mustang that I'm recently tuning to swap over to flex fuel and I enabled it within the software editor and filled out the tables, but the vcm scanner isn't detecting any ethanol or alcohol content in the car. I have a full tank of flex fuel but my readings keep showing up as 0%. I've been looking all over the forums for a solution, but I can't find one and I'm getting despreate... please help
