    2012 GT Mapped Points

What designates the parameters of "mapped points 0 and 1" that folks suggest I play with for Ghost Cam stuff. Ive tried several combinations and have gotten from no where to a big blower surge sound between 1000 and 500 rom. Im trying to figure the ghost cam stuff but have no idea what makes these "mapped points" "mapped points" is there a way to view the specific parameters that get me there.

Thanks for nothing. Ive read to death as well. And inevitably someone always takes off on some tangent from what the initial post is. Forget it.

My opinion is that you shouldn’t change the cam timing of the commanded mapped points because then all the spark, SD, and torque data for that point will be incorrect. Rather, I think it’s better to command at idle a point that has the overlap you’re looking for. I believe the stock idle mapped point is 30,0. You might command the point at 0,0 or -20,0.
