    Tuner info

I have a 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 4.7 V8 with a lift. I?m looking for a tuner to help with my mpg. Problem is I have throttle cable and not an electric throttle, so most tuners won?t work due to plug and play. Is there a tuner out there that can be plugged in to the code reader, or anywhere else to help me?

Don't expect any tuner to gain you much if any fuel mileage with a lift. There really isn't any magic that you can sprinkle on it and gain 2-3 miles per gallon.

HP Tuners uses the OBD2 port, check the website for all information on this tuner and to see if it supports your vehicle.
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.

If you have a significantly larger tire you can re calibrate your speedometer and BAM you just got better MPG. Well maybe not better but more accurate.
If tire size went up enough you would also gain from a tire change to better utilize factory torque curve for cruise.
