Gen 4 and 5 hybrid motor tuning L83-LS7-LT5

I have an L83 long block with an LS7 intake and LT5 cam. I used the LT5 cam because it was cheap, deletes AFM and eventually I plan to put an LSA blower on this thing. I finally got it to lite off yesterday but I had to drop the flow rate of the injectors down 80% from their advertised flow rate. The injectors were a set of old LY6 injectors I had...so they might be faulty. I have a set of LS3 injectors I will try tomorrow or Friday.

Right now there is a cam phaser in there and it's disabled to 0. I will play around with some different angles looking at an LT4 map and see how that does. The LT5 cam at idle is probably the cause for the 13kpa at idle.

Anyway, feel free to offer comments.

Map sensor setting is off if it idles at 13kpa, could be dead sensor

Can't remember if I put the LS7 MAP sensor on there or a cut down truck sensor so I'll try an LS7 scale first and see if that gets it back, but yes it looks like its WAAAY off, especially when the motor is not running.

MAP sensor was bad. Swapped that and now responding like a normal motor. I ended up having to replace the pedal, I had a bad CTS pedal and it threw a ton of codes. I have a Camaro pedal in there now but now I need to fabricate a new bracket...only getting 30% travel before it hits the floor. It's drivable at least. 20210125_131608 (2).jpg 20210125_131538 (2).jpg
