T87A unlocked already or not?

So we have a 17 Z06 that came in for tuning and the customer thinks it's been to another shop for upgrades.(just bought it)
Is there a way to check the TCM to see if it's already had the unlock service done? Or,
Can I just try and read the TCM and if it reads it then it must be unlocked? Or will it not let me read it at all, and that tells me if it's locked?

Even though it will just be a virtual read (need internet), if it is not unlocked, you won't be able to (virtual) read it.

Ok, So to answer the question, When I try to read the TCM it does give us a message popup that says that the TCM needs the unlock service performed. Thanks
